Students from all over the world come to the Berlitz Cuernavaca Language Center to learn and practice Spanish while they discover Mexican Culture. French, English, German, Portuguese, and Italian among other languages are taught at our Language Center
A pioneer in its field, Berlitz has always led the way in the application of learning technologies to language instruction. From the early experiments with reel-to-reel tapes, the development of an extensive collection of audio cassettes through to the interactive online capabilities of our program, Berlitz has sought to provide students with the sound of authentic native speech to guide them even when they studied on their own, outside of class.
Berlitz Cuernavaca, in its commitment to excellence, is supported by a knowledgeable and experienced staff of native Spanish speaking Instructors. All of our instructors are periodically trained in the Berlitz Method and receive frequent updates on the use of new materials and educational techniques. This ensures that the student will not have to suffer changing from one teacher to the next.
To always address the student in the target language (Spanish), never translate, not explain grammar rules but rather guides the student to deduce them, and always maintain a minimum of 50% student participation.
Our conversational method requires a constant rotation of teachers, thus providing the student with a wide range of accents and pronunciations.
Our Quality Control Department keeps track of teachers and students, supervising performance and progress to meet the highest standards in our programs. We are also part of the American Council of Education; hence, college credits can be obtained.
